Due to the custom nature of our work, the time, and resources invested from the moment a project begins, our refund policy is structured differently from standard retail product returns.

2. Project Cancellations and Refunds

2.1. Initial Deposits

For most projects, we require an upfront deposit (typically 30% to 50% of the total project cost) before work commences. This deposit covers the initial planning, resource allocation, and strategy phases. Initial deposits are non-refundable once project planning and discovery work has begun.

2.2. Cancellation During Development

If you choose to cancel a project after the initial phase but before completion:

  • You must provide written notice of cancellation to info@techquestweb.com.
  • You will be billed for the work completed up to the date of cancellation, based on our standard hourly rates or the proportion of the project milestones achieved.
  • If the total amount of work completed exceeds the initial deposit, you will be invoiced for the remaining balance.
  • If the work completed is less than the deposit paid, no refund will be issued, but you will not be billed further.

2.3. Completed Projects

Once a project is completed, delivered, and approved by the client, no refunds will be issued. We provide ample opportunities for review, feedback, and revisions during the development process to ensure the final product meets your expectations.

3. Retainer and Subscription Services

For ongoing services such as maintenance, support, SEO, or cloud hosting (retainer models):

  • These services are billed on a monthly or annual basis.
  • You may cancel subscription services with a 30-day written notice prior to the next billing cycle.
  • No pro-rated refunds will be provided for partial months of service used.
  • Payments already processed for the current billing cycle are non-refundable.

4. Third-Party Costs

Any costs incurred by Tech Quest Web Solutions Inc. on your behalf for third-party services (e.g., domain registration, premium plugins, stock images, hosting fees, or API licenses) are strictly non-refundable. These assets belong to you and will be transferred to your control upon cancellation, provided all outstanding invoices are settled.

5. Exceptions and Discretion

Tech Quest Web Solutions Inc. reserves the right to evaluate refund requests on a case-by-case basis. If we fail to deliver the services as outlined in the agreed-upon project scope or contract due to circumstances entirely within our control, we may, at our sole discretion, offer a partial or full refund.
